History of F.C. Price Corp.
Frank Price began offering concrete construction services to homeowners in the Milwaukee area in 1974. For the next few years he struggled through the ups and downs of an industry in which business is seasonal. In 1980 he decided it was neccessary either to move to an area with a warmer climate or to expand the range of services his companmy offered. He chose the latter and, in 1981, after securing bonding Frank was able to offer concrete and masonry services to to the commercial market in Southeastern Wisconsin. Within two years he added pre-engineered steel construction to the list and by the mid-80's incorporated to become F.C. Price Corp., offering concrete, masonry, steel erection and carpentry divisions. The company had also created a seperate mechanical division. Southeast Mechanical. This division offered HVAC and sheet metal services seperate from F.C. Price Corp. Before the end of the decade, F.C. Price Corp. had expanded to a workforce of nearly 100 and was designing, constructing projects and developing land in industrial parks throughout the State of Wisconsin and into neighboring states. Frank's son Matthew Price is now in control of the workforce and with specialized equipment such as a laser screed we provide a full line of concrete services to the residential industrial and commercial markets for other contractors and developers. On our own design build projects we save the owners money by self performing the concrete work, steel erection, and other trades on many projects.
Our efforts at accident prevention start at the top and flow through the entire company. The guidelines developed train all employees with safety procedures to protect everyone from injury.
The committment that we have for safety has been recognized by our insurance carrier and is evident by our excellent EMR rating. All of our employees are held accountable to work safely and for reporting any unsafe working conditions.
