F.C. Price Corp.

Frank Price began offering concrete construction services to homeowners in the Milwaukee area in 1974. For the next few years he struggled through the ups and downs of an industry in which business is seasonal. In 1980 he decided it was neccessary either to move to an area with a warmer climate or to expand the range of services his companmy offered. He chose the latter and , in 1981, after securing bonding Frank was able to offer concrete and masonry services to general contractors in Southeastern Wisconsin.
Within two years he added pre-engineered steel construction to the list and by the mid-80's incorporated to become F.C. Price Corp., offering concrete, masonry, steel erection and carpentry divisions. The company had also created a seperate mechanical division. Southeast Mechanical. This division offered HVAC and sheet metal services seperate from F.C. Price Corp.
Before the end of the decade, F.C. Price Corp. had expanded to a workforce of nearly 100 and was designing, constructing and developing land in industrial parks throughout the State of Wisconsin and into neighboring states. Then in the mid 90-s the management of F.C. Price decided to change it's goals and strategy to focus on fewer projects with a smaller more dedicated workforce. To this end they began aquiring specialized equipment such as a laser screed and resumed their niche in providing a full line of concrete services to the industrial and commercial markets.
